Three things that change the number

Measure the area
Length and width of the room, or the total area if you already have it. Feet or metres — whichever your builder quoted.

Pick the tile size
Every size we stock is in the list. Larger formats mean fewer tiles but more wastage on cuts.

Allow for wastage
10% covers a straightforward room. Go higher for diagonal laying, alcoves or large-format slabs.
